69 Summer Dayzzz - Montreal 2009

Man and Coffee in Montreal
Our Montreal trip has now come and gone. That was good practice. Now I'm ready for the real trip!

This perfect exemplar of a french-speaking Montreal Quebec'ian sat across from us at breakfast. His features bespeak royal lineage. Or else the butler to the royal family. Nobility. I almost felt like I should pay for his breakfast because he was a fantastic model sitting there quietly and motionless in just the right pose. I didn't need to post process this at all.

Now the mea culpa ... I've been delinquent in my posts. Guilty. Start with the basic fact that I'm lazy. Then add the fact that I'm immersed in re-designing my website (here) and, well, hours turn into seconds and days fall off my calendar. They're lying inside dust-bunnies somewhere under my couch next to a sock, a dorito and a dime.

Montreal SkylineHere is another Montreal shot. This one perfectly captures the juxtaposition of old and new in the city. This cathedral (and many others) are butted up against skyscrapers.

Montreal factoid: Did you know that it wasn't until 1989 that Montreal started treating their sewage? Up til then, they simply pumped it into the river raw. ewwww ... umm ... ewww

More Montreal pics *here*

Peace out,
Glen
